The rescheduled event of IIFA Utsavam will be a fundraiser in support of Chennai flood victims.
Andre Timmins, founder and director of Wizcraft International, who is organising the IIFA event, says, "IIFA Utsavam in conjunction with the film industries of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam will be held later as a fundraiser for the victims. We are saddened by this disaster and our prayers are with the people of the city.���
The first edition of the IIFA Utsavam was supposed to be held in Hyderabad from December 4 to December 6.

Nominations are already out on their official website where the voting process is in progress. The government of Telangana is an official sponsor for this award. But in the wake of the tragic floods in Chennai, it has been postponed to show solidarity towards the people of Chennai.The next schedule will be decided in the month of January, 2016.
